Who enjoys Harbourside the most?
If you have a disability, feel lonely, and would benefit from a friendly space and a chat, then Harbourside could be perfect for you. We have specific days available; just let us know your needs. Our inclusive environment is designed for anyone looking for companionship and engagement in a supportive setting.
A typical day at Harbourside
Your day with us starts with a cuppa on arrival. Activities run until elevenses, which normally involves biscuits! Then, weather permitting, we might enjoy a stroll, quizzes, or crafts. This is followed by lunch and more activities, topped off with afternoon tea and cakes. We love board games and laughter, before it's time for your day to end. Expect a warm welcome, engaging activities, and plenty of opportunities to socialise and receive support from our dedicated team.
Joining Harbourside
You can attend anywhere from one to six days per week. Most of our visitors receive funding from Pembrokeshire Council, as we operate under the "day opportunities" title. You could receive the full daily allowance, as we charge under the full day opportunities allowance. We also welcome private visitors who pay daily. Just contact us for an initial chat, and we can take it from there.
For your information, we are a Pembrokeshire Council approved provider. All our staff are fully enhanced DBS checked and hold adult safeguarding, first aid, and food hygiene certifications. We also have a staff member certified in cognitive behaviour and counselling, as well as a nail technician.
